Confess is an anonymous confession platform. Users submit personal confessions through our website. After moderation, approved submissions are shared on our social media channels — Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube — without any identifying information attached.

3. How We Use Your Information
The content you submit is used solely for the following purposes:
- Reviewing your submission for compliance with our community guidelines
- Publishing approved confessions anonymously on our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages
- Displaying approved confessions on this website
- Detecting and preventing spam, abuse, or harmful content
We do not use your submission for advertising profiling, sell it to third parties, use it to train AI models outside our own moderation tools, or share it with any entity beyond the platforms listed above.
4. Social Media Publishing
By submitting a confession, you grant Confess a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish that confession — in whole or in part — on our official social media pages:
- Instagram — as a post, reel, or story
- Facebook — as a page post or video
- YouTube — as a video, short, or community post
All published content is attributed only as "Anonymous". No identifying information, IP address, or submission metadata is ever included in published posts. Once published to social media, content is subject to those platforms' own privacy policies.
Content Advice: Do not include your own name, phone number, address, or any personally identifying details within the text of your confession itself. We cannot remove information you voluntarily include in your confession text after it has been published.
5. Data Retention
Submitted confessions are retained on our servers for operational purposes. Declined confessions may be deleted periodically. Uploaded files associated with approved confessions are retained for as long as the confession is displayed. You may request deletion of your submission at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies & Tracking
This website uses only essential session cookies required for basic website functionality (such as form submission protection). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile individual visitors.
7. Your Rights
Because we collect no personally identifying information, most data protection rights (such as data access or portability requests) are inherently met by our anonymous design. However, you also have the right to:
- Request removal of a specific confession if you can reasonably demonstrate it was submitted by you
- Report content that violates our guidelines
- Contact us with any concern about how your submission was handled
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our social media channels. Due to the anonymous nature of submissions, we may not always be able to verify ownership of a specific confession, but we will do our best to assist.
8. Children's Privacy
This platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect submissions from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted content to our platform, please contact us immediately and we will review and remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
